ANKC registered breeders of Staffordshire Bull Terriers

Why we got involved in breeding

We have always had a passion for animals and we want to share that with the world!  Unfortunately not all animals are bred well, and not all owners are prepared for raising a pup. We want to do our part to change that!

We strive to raise happy, healthy, well adjusted and empowered pups. We also provide education, training and a life time of support to our puppy families to ensure they are well equipped for their new addition, now and always.

Our partnership

We want the absolute best for our puppies and their new families so we have teamed up with Dog Trainer and Behaviourist, John Gatt, to ensure all our new puppy families receive the education, training and support they need to raise a well adjusted, well behaved, and confident pup.  John provides a 2.5 hour Puppy Education Program for all our new puppy families, prior to puppies going to their new homes.

John has over 40 years experience and works both interstate and internationally.  We’re honoured to have John support our program!

ANKC Registered

We are proud to be ANKC registered!

Dogs Australia, formerly and more well known as the ANKC (Australian National Kennel Council) is the only internationally recognised registry able to issue certified pedigrees for purebred dogs. Dogs Australia is the coordinating kennel club of Australia and each State has their own member body with which registration is sought.

We are registered with DogsNSW and you can contact them at [email protected] to verify our membership.

Home Environment

Our dogs are raised both in our home and in our yard. They get the best of both worlds! You’ll often find them cuddled up on the couch with us or in the office while we’re working, and they love to spend time on the grass in the sunshine, playing in their pools, and snuggling up to our other animals.

We have secure fencing and can have everyone separated into their own large yards if required (such as when the girls are on heat and we need to prevent a mating), and we have a secure yard for mum and pups which they can access via doggy door from the house where they are raised.  We are lucky to both have flexible jobs that allows us to be home the majority of the time, which is incredibly important when raising pups.

We keep our dogs active and well stimulated with a range of training, play and activities, and they regularly join us for outings. They love the park, the beach, the lake, the coffee shop and exploring all the wonderful nature trails we have in our area on the beautiful Central Coast. We ensure we spend 1:1 time with all our dogs, as well as time together, and we love watching them learn new activities and develop new skills and interests.

Behaviour & Socialization

All our dogs have beautiful gentle and affectionate personalities and we strive to breed dogs with excellent temperaments. We carefully consider temperament when pairing our dogs for mating, and our backgrounds in animal care, health, behaviour, psychology and training certainly come in handy in this regard.

Our dogs (and pups) are part of our family and grow up in our home, while also having access to lots of space to roam freely outdoors. Our dogs are well socialised with people and other animals, they’re friendly, confident and inquisitive, and enjoy outings with us to various locations around the Central Coast and beyond.

We dedicate a lot of time and effort to raising confident, well-adjusted dogs, which is why we have proudly chosen to raise our pups under the ‘Badass Breeder’ banner and follow an intentional and purposeful daily curriculum which ensures we give our pups the best start to life.

Health & Genetic Testing

All our dogs have full Orivet DNA profiles and are cleared of L2-HGA, HC and DM. None of our dogs are carriers for any of these hereditary diseases, nor do we use carriers if we are looking at a stud dog external to our program.

All our dogs are in exceptional health, and are regularly examined by our local Vet. It is of the utmost importance that we are producing happy, healthy puppies of the highest quality.

We also consult with our reproductive team at Sires on Ice, and our dogs undertake relevant reproductive testing before mating.

We adhere to the Dogs NSW Code of Ethics and strive to eliminate any serious genetic defects in our breed. We make every reasonable effort to produce dogs that do not suffer from any disorder that is detrimental to their long-term health and wellbeing, and we offer a 2 year health guarantee for any congenital issues.

Empowered Badass Breeder

We have proudly chosen to raise our pups under the ‘Badass Breeder’ banner and follow an intentional and purposeful daily curriculum. This curriculum includes early neurological stimulation, early scent introduction, handling activities, sound and sight exposure, socialisation activities, crate, toilet and command training (including recall) and is designed to build confidence in our pups instead of creating and enabling fear.
